THREAD FASHION SHOW/EVENT COMING TO SAN FRANCISCO

So this is why I made my blog, To give you give you guys wonderful stats on events that no one talks about but that does happen in the citayyy!

THREAD is a "Showcase of emerging Fashion Designers & the music and art that rocks their worlds." With Trend Casting, andStyle breaking, this curated Showcase doesn't get its proper attention. THREAD is a dynamic one day retail environment, bringing new fashion and art to more than 200,000 fashion savvy, trend pushing, music loving, taste making movers and shakers, all keen to get first dibs on what drops next in the emerging fashion designer world.

AND THEY ARE COMING BACK TO THE METEROON FOR A FUN FILLED EVENT!!!

Nov. 20th, 2011 from 11am - 5pm Thread is to bringing the best in emerging designers and independent fashion back to us. they are filling 2011 with the things we know and love, and introducing new stuff to make us want more. Just when we thought THREAD couldn’t get any better, check out what’s on the roster for 2011…

Shop from loads of trendsetting designers bringing you men’s and women’s clothing, accessories, shoes, jewelry and more!

• Do it yourself (because nobody does it better)at the DIY gift wrapping station
• Sip away on amazing signature cocktails
• Join us for a mini-mani from an hot local nail salon
• Snatch up the designer and sponsor giveaways coming from the DJ booth all day long
• Make it a memory in the THREAD Photo Booth
• Chill out with quick rub down in the THREAD Well Lounge
• Check out the top designer looks at the Fashion Art Installation
• Get styled with a new do and a make-up touch up in the Style Lounge

We’ve got you covered. Chill with us in the THREAD Man-cave: have a drink, kick your feet up, play some games and hang with your bros. Stay as long as you like, we promise not to send you home after the game.

As always, THREAD is committed to going green so make sure you check out all of our eco-friendly designers and stop by the clothing swap to trade in your old duds for some ‘new to you’ bits.

Here’s what works:

* CONDITION: gently worn clothing / clean and washed / in great condition ( no holes, tears, marks, stains etc)

*STYLES: one of a kind / designer / vintage / new / modern

* MATERIALS: all welcome

*ITEMS: dresses, skirts, tops, blouses, shorts, jackets, hats, shoes, boots, sneakers

*UNACCEPTABLE ITEMS: swimwear, underwear, lingerie, no accessories: including jewelry, bags, belts

NEW VIP TICKET- $25

You're all VIPs in our eyes, but now your ticket can be, too! Only a limited number of these "first come-first served" tickets will be available, and here is what's included:

* Entrance to the show 1 hour before everyone else (11AM-NOON will be VIP access only)

* A gift bags stuffed with lots of great treats and swag

* Complimentary drink from the bar

* Special discounts and offers from select designers at the show

* We'll plant and maintain one tree for every VIP ticket purchased

This ticket will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis. To take advantage, you'll need to RSVP as usual and be one of the first 300 in line at the show.

I say this is a MUST see event, and to be able to pull out that dress and heels you have been DYING to wear for a fashion day, this is it!
